Safeguarding and Wellbeing
We have 3 trained designated safeguarding leads at school- all of whom are members of the leadership team. (The Head, Deputy and Pathway 1 Lead) Our Deputy Head takes a more senior role in terms of management of safeguarding as she is also responsible for our pastoral curriculum and Emotional Wellbeing team.
All staff are given annual safeguarding training and updates and additional training throughout the year. Staff report any concerns of a safeguarding nature to a designated safeguarding lead who will then contact parents and engage other agencies as appropriate.
We seek to work proactively with families in supporting families and young people and ask that parents/carers report any changes in circumstance, personal worries or concerns you have that may impact on your child’s wellbeing so we can support you and also signpost you to other agencies that may be able to offer support.
