Admissions
All requests for a school place at Fox Hollies are made via the local authority SEND team (for Birmingham this is SENAR) who then pass the EHCP and accompanying relevant reports onto us as part of a consultation request.
Once we receive the consultation we assess whether we are able to meet the identified needs of the child or young person and whether we can deliver the special educational provision in the EHCP.
We will also consider attainment levels of the child or young person in comparison to the peers they would be educated with, access to an appropriate curriculum or peer group, or environmental factors.
Our response is returned to the local authority of origin and they will then get inform parents/carers of the outcome.
We are a heavily oversubscribed school and though we endeavour to support as many students as we can we have a limit to the class sizes we can accommodate.
We strongly advise that you visit Fox Hollies at one of our open days before requesting a place at our school.
